John Williams' Star Wars Suite brings to life the thrilling themes and iconic moments from one of the most beloved film sagas of all time. From the triumphant brass of the main theme to the ominous “Imperial March,” this is cinematic music at its most powerful.
Then, journey through space with Holst’s The Planets — a majestic orchestral masterpiece that captures the mystical and emotional character of each planet, from the warlike fury of “Mars” to the serene beauty of “Venus.”
Cantala Choir will join us with their ethereal voices in "Neptune" as we drift off into deep space.

Founded in 2008 by Nancy Singla, CANTALA is an award-winning and vibrant young choral ensemble within the Toronto choral community. Cantala serves as a “musical home” for singers who are passionate about choral excellence and who value the meaningful impact that ensemble singing has on one’s life.
Over the past 17 years, Cantala has worked with internationally respected Canadian and global conductors and has earned numerous awards, scholarships, and distinctions. The choir has presented solo recitals at prestigious venues such as Four Seasons Centre for Performing Arts, Roy Thomson Hall and Carnegie Hall, performed with Eric Whitacre at Lincoln Center, and participated in the Banff Centre for Arts and Creativity choral program.
Cantala has released four albums, including Songbird (2024), Dancing Day (2019), A Ceremony of Carols (2018) and Cantala Choir (2017) and Cantala was recently awarded two first-place finishes at the Ontario choral provincial competition!

The nearest TTC station is Eglinton station on Line 1. TTC buses go from Eglinton station north on Yonge Street. To reach the church, exit the bus at Lytton Boulevard and walk one block west on Lytton.

Seating
The auditorium will open 45 minutes before the performance.
This concert will have both reserved and unreserved seating.
