The North York Concert Orchestra offers an affordable four-concert season at Yorkminster Citadel as well as a Family Concert. For many reasons attending these concerts may not be possible.
We believe that music is for everyone, and to ensure these audiences are also given the opportunity to experience classical music in a live setting, our orchestra performs outreach and community programs in seniors’ residences and community centres.
The NYCO Chamber Players, smaller ensembles of musicians from the orchestra, also offers concerts in seniors’ homes and an education concert series in schools.
