Vacancies

We currently have vacancies for the following instruments:

• Strings
• 2nd clarinet
• Harp

We rehearse on Wednesday evenings, from 7:30 to 10 pm, in Titan Hall at York Mills Collegiate Institute, 490 York Mills Road (between Bayview and Leslie), North York. Click here for our music program for the season, season calendar and current rehearsal schedule.

Our first rehearsals for the 2023-2024 season:

• Program 1 will take place on Wednesday September 11, 2024
• Program 2 will take place on Wednesday October 9, 2024
• Program 3 will take place on Wednesday November 6, 2024
• Program 4 will take place on Wednesday January 8, 2025
• Program 5 will take place on Wednesday February 12, 2025
• Program 6 will take place on Wednesday March 19, 2025
• Program 7 will take place on Wednesday April 30, 2025

If you are offered a position and decide to continue playing in the orchestra, you will be expected to pay a membership fee which is essential to the orchestra’s ability to operate and provide the music-making environment that we all enjoy.

The annual membership fee is $140 ($70 for full-time students), pro rata for joining after the first concert.
