TWO GIANTS OF THE MUSICAL WORLD IN A SEASONAL MASH-UP
Can you imagine what would have happened if the great Russian composer Peter Tchaikovsky had met up with and actually collaborated with John Lennon and Paul McCartney? Well, on Sunday, December 10th at 3pm you can experience the North York Concert Orchestra presenting Beatlecracker, a special piece for the holiday season which mixes the lovely dance sequences of The Nutcracker with famous songs of The Beatles.
Also on the program will be the three very talented and very young winners of the NYCO Youth Concerto Competition for 2023, Troika by Prokofiev and an enchanting Christmas Overture by Coleridge-Taylor.
