This is Gideon’s debut piano performance with NYCO, where he has played second clarinet since 2016. He previously performed Bach’s First Keyboard Concerto and Saint-Saëns’ Fifth Piano Concerto with the Toronto Community Orchestra.
Gideon grew up in a musical family, and his parents Marion and Roland are long-time members of this orchestra. When he’s not playing music, he’s working in the tech industry in Toronto and Silicon Valley. He holds a Bachelor’s of Applied Science in Industrial Engineering from the University of Toronto and a Master’s of Business Administration from Harvard Business School.
