From the pen of Carl Orff comes the unforgettable first chorus: “O Fortuna”. It’s loud and triumphant, and something you’ll never forget! The North York Concert Orchestra with Pax Christi Chorale and the Bach Children’s Chorus under the direction of Rafael Luz present the entire work CARMINA BURANA, strongly rhythmic and emotionally charged. Also on the program, Brahms’ poignant Nänie and the wild “Bacchanale” from the Saint-Saëns’ opera Samson and Delilah. An exciting evening of great music at the George Weston Recital Hall.
